Shirley Ford Millis Mayes, 78, of Virginia, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024. Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Powers of Lizella; son, Harry Millis (Monica) of Jones County; sister, Gladys Dawson; brothers, John Ford of Virginia and Gerald Grammer of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Janie Rousey, Jeffery Johnson, John 'Bubba' Johnson, Matt Weaver, Samantha Jones, Steven Barton, Emily Millis, Harry Millis III, Jacob Howell, Christian Millis and Shane Grammer; and 24 great-grandchildren.
