The property manager stated the tenant, Terrell Jones Sr. was evicted from the property and when she arrived at the property, she found Jones had left five dogs on the property. The dogs consisted of one male, one female, and three very young puppies. All five animals appeared to be in distress due to their living conditions.

The female was chained in a makeshift shelter, with her puppies in the center of the yard with no access to food or clean water. The shelter was also very poorly maintained. The male dog was chained up nearby under an even smaller wooden shelter, which was not even big enough to contain his body. Animal Control personnel were called to the scene and took each of the animals into their care.

At the time of the report, all of the dogs were alive in the shelter. Jones was located at 1765 Vinson Hwy., where he was questioned. Jones stated a female friend left the dogs with him around six months prior, but he was unaware of how to properly care for them.
