Cadet named Rhodes Scholar after journey from GMC to West Point

Cadet Fahad Abdulrazzaq, a former Georgia Military College (GMC) Service Academy Prep scholar and current regimental commander at West Point, of the U.S. Military Academy, has been selected as a Rhodes Scholar. This prestigious honor emphasizes Abdulrazzaq’s outstanding academic and leadership accomplishments, fortifying his status as an exemplary representative of both GMC and West Point.

The Georgia Military College Service Academy Prep Program plays a crucial role in preparing students for the challenges of attending prestigious U.S. service academies such as West Point.

The program is designed to provide intensive academic, physical, and character development, equipping aspiring cadets with the skills and knowledge necessary for success at institutions like West Point.

The Rhodes Scholarship, one of the most prestigious international scholarships, is awarded to outstanding students from around the world to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford.
