Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Amy Mimes; daughters, Renee Dabney (Marvin); Tina Thomas; sons, Sid Mimes (Lana), Sam Mimes (Melanie), Jamie Thompson (Kelly) and Jacob Thompson (Kaitlyn); grandchildren, Ryan Bruck, Nicholas Bruck, Jesse Denaro, Ashley Rogers, Bridget Hall, Katie McCants, Haley Mimes, Trey Mimes, Macie White, Peyton Simmons, Luke Thompson, Caleb Thompson, Reagin Thompson, Kenny Jarrard, and Casey Dodd; and great-grandchildren, Henley Bruck, Brenlyn Mimes, Hadley Denaro, Rachel Hyman, Ansley Hyman, and Emmaline Hall.
