Celebrate women’s history month at fifth annual Women’s Leadership Conference

>> GEORGIA COLLEGE

In a world that seems uncertain, where individuals and organizations continue to process this “new normal” we live in and explore future possibilities, it can often feel like we’re being asked to do more with less. What would it look like if instead this sentiment was flipped on its head and we considered what we could do, who we could be, what we could achieve, if we focused on prioritizing doing the things that really matter to us? These are the questions behind this year’s Georgia College Women’s Leadership Conference theme - Leading Change: Do Less, Be More.

With this year’s conference, we’re zeroing in on the things that allow us to be more - more creative, more authentic, and more aligned with our goals.

The conference will be held on Friday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Peabody Auditorium. The conference is a collaboration between the Women’s Center & LGBTQ+ Programs, the Office of Community Engagement, Office of Inclusive Excellence, the GCSU Alumni Association and the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business and Technology.

Featuring interactive sessions, workshops, speeches and seminars, the Women’s Leadership Conference offers insight into how leadership has been tested and persevered.

The conference is targeted to individuals who identify as women but is open to all students, professionals and members of the community including individuals of all gender identities.

Tickets will cost $5 for Georgia College students and $10 for non-students. You can register for the conference at gcsu. edu/womenscenter/womensleadership.
