James P. “Jim” Johnson Jr., of Milledgeville, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Joyce M. Johnson; daughters, Julie Johnson Vining (Randy) and Janet Johnson Presley and their mother, Nellie Turner Johnson; stepsons, Clint Chesnut, Chris Chesnut; grandchildren Paige A. Corley (Josh), J. Wyatt Wigglesworth (Destiny); step-grandchildren, Blake Chesnut, Zach Chesnut, Alex Chesnut, Denise Towery, Hank Towery; and several great-grandchildren.
