Joanne Thrower Griffin, 89, of Morgantown, Virginia, passed away on Feb. 1, 2023. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Griffi n of Milledgeville; sons, James Christopher Griffi n (Sandy) of Florida, Steven Lee Griffi n (Teresa) of Florida; three grandsons, two great-granddaughters; and sister, Patsy Childers of Alabama.
