Man steals package off front porch
On Sept. 7, law enforcement was dispatched to a residence in reference to a theft. The victim reported that while she was at work a lawn care company came to her house to mow her lawn.
While they were there, the door camera picked up male subjects weed eating and reportedly looking at a package on her porch. Eventually, she would get another notification when the same subject moved the package beside her front porch. The footage showed the same male subject, as the victim reported, looking around and then kicking the package across the porch. According to the report, the man appeared to be kicking the package out of the view of the camera. However, footage did not show the subject pick up the package. When the victim arrived home, the package could not be located. As of The Baldwin Bulletin’s deadline, there is no more information.
Girl threatens to kill another female in Longhorn parking lot
On Sept. 11, law enforcement was dispatched in reference to threats. Upon arrival, an officer spoke to the complaint who stated his child was involved in an incident on Sept. 9 in the Longhorn parking-lot. Reportedly, during the incident someone pulled a gun on their child and put it to their head. According to the victim, she went to Longhorn with some friends and then returned to her vehicle in the parking lot. As she was backing out of the parking space, she reported that another vehicle blocked her in . She stated that she did not recognize the driver, however one of her friends ran up to her and told her to leave. Reportedly, the driver, Chelsea Marie, exited her vehicle with a firearm in her waistband.
Marie made threats towards the victim and stated she had reportedly killed two people and was not afraid to do so to a third. At this time, Marie removed the gun from her waist and put it between her thighs before she pointed the gun at the victim. The victim reported hearing a click from the gun as the safety was reportedly removed. The victim took a photo of Marie pointing a gun towards her vehicle. In the vehicle one of her friends was beside it and it appeared that the gun was angled towards them.
Attempted burglary at Theo’s Muffler Shop
On Sept. 9, law enforcement was dispatched to Theo’s Muffler Shop in reference to an attempted burglary. The owner advised when he arrived that morning, he noticed two cinder blocks near the back-storage area, a footprint on the back wall near a hole that had plywood on it and footprints on the roof. Reportedly none of these sightings were there the day before. Law enforcement was advised this was a high value area, which houses mufflers and catalytic converters are commonly taken. The officer noted seeing the smudged footprint on the back side of the building/storage area and smudged footprints on the roof. The plywood had been put in place by the owner to make attempted thefts harder. There was no camera footage available of the incident. As of The Baldwin Bulletin’s deadline, there is no more information.
Possible burglary at residence
On Sept. 10, law enforcement was dispatched to a reference in reference to a burglary. One victim reported that they noticed the side door to their residence damaged and left ajar. An officer observed the door frame to be splintered and the lock to be broken.
The victim stated no one has been on the property for at least two weeks.
No property was missing however front windows to the residence were broken. However, the victim stated it happened prior to their last visit and did not report it. The property owner estimated the repairs for the window to cost approximately $300 and the front windows to cost $150 each. As of The Baldwin Bulletin’s deadline, no suspects have been identified.
