JMA hires new baseball coach

John Milledge Academy’s head baseball coach Justin Mills is stepping down and passing the torch to 27-year-old Tucker Bradley to lead the varsity baseball team. The school officially announced the position June 3 in an Instagram post.

Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin debuts life jacket loaner station

Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin and its community partners debuted a new life jacket loaner station at the Oconee River Greenway Park in Milledgeville at the end of May. The station is located just outside of the picnic area near the boat ramp at the park.

Unknown man steals ribeye steaksOn June 17, law enforcement was dispatched to Walmart, at 2592 N.Columbia St., in reference to a shoplifting that has already occurred. Asset protection was reviewing video and found an incident on June 8, where a male took four packs of ribeye steaks, totaling $129.
