City of Milledgeville awarded GMA’s Health Wellness Grant

The City of Milledgeville was awarded a 2025 Health Wellness Grant by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA). The grant supports the Wellness Committee’s commitment to helping create positive changes in the workplace culture and going the extra mile for employees’ health wellness.

Exchange Club of Milledgeville celebrates 40th anniversary

The Exchange Club of Milledgeville celebrated its 40th anniversary with a luncheon held Sept. 19 at The Club on Lake Sinclair. The milestone event brought together current and past members, elected officials, community friends, and Exchange leadership from the state and national levels.

Four-Star Hilton Hotel proposed for downtown Milledgeville

From the Ground Up of Georgia Representative Mike Couch, a former resident of Milledgeville and past executive director of Central State Hospital Local Redevelopment Authority, announced plans for a new four-star Hilton Hotel project on North Jefferson Street in Milledgeville.
