Colin Hall named first GCSU Truman Scholar

Colin Hall, a political science major with a minor in criminal justice, is Georgia College & State University’s (GCSU) first-ever Truman Scholar and was the only Georgia student to receive the scholarship this year.

Council discusses budget, proposes change to Land Bank contract

The Milledgeville City Council met on Tuesday to discuss the Land Bank contract and listen to budget presentations from Milledgeville Mainstreet, Milledgeville Fire Rescue and Public Works. All board members were present for the meeting, excluding Mayor Mary Parham-Copelan.
