Residents share opposition to neighborhood changes

Many neighborhood residents who successfully fought the proposed east apron hanger project at the Baldwin County Regional Airport are now trying to stop the construction of a multi-purpose path around the aviation facility and adjacent to nearby roadways.

Murder suspect arrested at Riverbend Apartments

Derquavious Kier, a suspect in the Nov. 25 murder on Anthony Way, was arrested on Dec. 21 at Riverbend Apartments. On Nov. 25, patrol units from the Milledgeville Police Department (MPD) responded to multiple reports of shots fired.

BOC approves budget; hosts special recognitions

The Baldwin County Board of Commissioners hosted its final meeting of the year on Dec. 19 completed several presentations and approved the budget. All members except Commissioner Henry Craig were present at the meeting.

BCSD awarded Leading Edge Award

The Baldwin County School District received its fifth-consecutive recognition with the Leading Edge Award from the Georgia School Board Association (GSBA), as well as its seventh-consecutive Exemplary Board recognition at the annual GSBA Conference.

BOE recognizes The Bulletin

The Baldwin County Board of Education recognized The Baldwin Bulletin on Dec. 12 during its monthly meeting. Earlier this fall, the Baldwin County School District (BCSD) nominated The Baldwin Bulletin for the Georgia School Board Association’s (GSBA) Beacon Award.
