Watson Plumbing, a local business on Gray Highway, is a small family- owned plumbing business that offers a relaxed and friendly experience.
Johnny Watson, the owner of Watson Plumbing, said they are a small local business open to help people with their plumbing issues. He said they try their best to keep customers happy.
“Here at Watson Plumbing we do just about everything,” he said. “Anything to do with your water and sewer. We pump septic tanks and put in septic tanks. We are just a small family-owned business who helps people with their plumbing problems.”
Watson said he’s from Telfair County but moved with his parents to Jones County many years ago.
He said that was when he was around 12 years old.
His father started Watson Plumbing in 1956, and Johnny Watson started working for Watson Plumbing in 1990.
“I love Jones County.
It’s nothing like Atlanta.
I love Jones County, because of the people.
Most people in Jones County are good. I’ve been doing plumbing for over 30 years. I love doing plumbing, and I love helping people, but it’s hard,” Watson said.
Denise Watson, Johnny Watson’s wife who is also an owner, said she’s lived in Jones County her entire life. She said she likes the people in the county, and how family oriented everyone is.
“This is a local business, and it’s family owned,” she said. “This is our home.
We provide a service for people in Jones County and in Macon. Watson Plumbing is what we do.”
