>> MINISTRY & MENTORSHIP
Truth in Nature, a national non-profit organization, is now running an outdoor mentorship and ministry program for boys in Milledgeville and surrounding communities.
Founded in 2009 in Dallas, Truth in Nature has grown to reach, inspire, support, and engage young men from fatherless homes in 24 different locations across 13 states. As Christian based organization, boys can expect to engage with mentors in an outdoor setting, while being guided to become a positive member of the community.
The Milledgeville Chapter of Truth in Nature will begin programs on Nov. 18th, 2023 with an outdoor education program. The chapter is currently accepting applications for boys and mentors. During the weekend-style monthly programs, participants will participate in group based mentoring while enjoying activities such as fishing, hunting, camping and more.
Boys must be middle or high school aged and from a single parent or fatherless home to participate. This program is free, after approved application paperwork has been completed.
