While most everyone in college know ramen as the cheap dish they make with pre-packaged noodles and a watered-down instant broth, ramen has its origins in something much more exciting. Traditional ramen can have a wide variety of meat and vegetable combinations, with the broth being much more flavorful and interesting. This, along with other noodle dishes, is what inspired Amy McDade to open “Miso Hawngry” in downtown Milledgeville, and she is excited to see where the business takes her after a successful soft launch last week.
