Milledgeville Burger Week returns

>> MAIN STREET

Milledgeville, the Georgia Beef Board and Milledgeville Main Street/Downtown Development Authority are partnering with local restaurants in Milledgeville and Baldwin County to present the popular Milledgeville Burger Week. Twelve eateries will each offer an off-menu, special $10 burger for 10 full days — May 16-25.

There will be a passport for Burger Week aficionados to navigate their way through the week. Passports get stamped at each location and turned in for a chance to win a prize. Passports will be available at participating restaurants and for download at milledgevilleburgerweek. com.

Georgia Beef Board officials said of this event, “The Georgia Beef Board is proud to again be a presenting sponsor of the Milledgeville Burger Week. As advocates for the beef industry, we are even more thrilled that Milledgeville Burger Week is in May again, coinciding with Georgia’s Beef Month. This alignment provides a fantastic opportunity to spotlight beef as a wholesome, nutritious, and sustainable protein choice for consumers while celebrating our hardworking farmers and ranchers who raise high-quality beef right here in Georgia.”

Funded by the Beef Checkoff, the Georgia Beef Board represents Georgia’s 15,000 beef cattle producers who are raising safe, wholesome, and nutritious beef products.
