Georgia Military College Preparatory School (GMC Prep School) appointed Stephanie McMillan as the new assistant principal for the elementary grades for the 2023-2024 school year. With her exceptional leadership skills and dedication to educational excellence, McMillan is poised to make a significant impact on the school’s academic environment and the success of its students.
McMillan has a wealth of experience in the field of education, having served in various leadership roles throughout her career, including her current role as assistant principal at Lakeview Primary School. McMillan earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Georgia College & State University, as well as an education specialist degree in teaching and learning from Georgia Southern. She is currently pursuing her doctorate of curriculum and instruction from GCSU.
McMillan’s passion for fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment aligns perfectly with Georgia Military College Preparatory School’s mission of academic rigor and character development. As the assistant principal, McMillan will work closely with the school’s administration, faculty, and staff to ensure a high-quality educational experience for every student. She will play a vital role in implementing curriculum enhancements, promoting innovative teaching methods and fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
