GMC announces Baldwin County scholarship winners

Georgia Military College’s (GMC) main campus has announced it has awarded the 20232024 Georgia Military College Baldwin County Graduate Scholarship to five outstanding Baldwin County Graduates. The scholarship is awarded annually to graduating seniors who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and community involvement.

Recipients of the 2023 Georgia Military College Baldwin County Graduate Scholarship include: Tyler Saunders, GMC Preparatory School; My Luu, GC Preparatory School; Luna Arguello, Baldwin County High School; Kierston Warren, Baldwin County High School; and Newton Chism, John Milledge Academy.

Each of these deserving students will receive a two-year scholarship to attend Georgia Military College that will pay up to 50 percent of tuition and fees, not to exceed $2,000 per academic year. To retain the scholarship, the recipient must take at least 12 credit hours during each term and maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Recipients of the GMC Baldwin County Graduate Scholarship must be GMC Main Campus students, taking 51 percent of their course work in-seat at the Milledgeville campus. All graduates of a high school located in Baldwin County Georgia are eligible to apply.
