Bennett, Bowers lead Georgia past Gamecocks in SEC opener

The pair of Stetson Bennett and Brock Bowers led No. 1 Georgia (3-0, 1-0 SEC) past South Carolina (1-2, 0-2 SEC) on Saturday. The Bulldogs dominated the Gamecocks in a 48-7 rout at Williams-Brice Stadium.
Bennett finished the contest by completing 16-of-23 passes for 284 yards and a pair of TDs. The super senior also led his team in rushing with 36 yards on three attempts and a score.
