Trojans’ win streak stopped at state final

One of the greatest runs in Georgia high school football history came to an end last Thursday when John Milledge Academy (JMA) lost 42-21 to Valwood in the GIAA 3A state championship game at Mercer University’s Five Star Stadium in Macon.

JMA pounds Pinewood to reach title game

In another lopsided victory last Friday, the John Milledge Academy (JMA) Trojans beat the Pinewood Patriots 63-28 on Nov. 24 to secure their spot in the GIAA Class 3A state championship game this Thursday in Macon.

JMA advances with 48-19 win over Panthers

The Trojans’ perfect season continued with their first playoff win last Friday, beating the visiting Tiftarea Panthers 48-19 behind a strong game on offense and equally good performance on defense.

JMA takes on Tiftarea in first playoff game

After its win over Tattnall Square two weeks ago, John Milledge Academy (JMA) sat out round one of the state playoffs with a bye and awaited the winner of the matchup between St. Andrews and Tiftarea.

Trojans take 49-33 win over Pinewood

With new quarterback Solomon Burney at the helm, the John Milledge Academy (JMA) Trojans captured their sixth straight win of the season last Friday, beating the Pinewood Patriots 49-33 on the road.

JMA beats Brookwood to extend win record

John Milledge Academy (JMA) hosted the Brookwood Warriors last Friday on Homecoming night in Milledgeville, where the Trojans won 62-28 at Trojan Field. It marked the fifth win in as many games for JMA this year and extended the organization’s winning streak to 55 over the last five seasons.

Trojans top Frederica Academy, continue winning

JMA finished up its three-game road trip last Friday at Frederica Academy, where the Trojans picked up their fourth win of the season in a tightly contested battle with the Knights from St. Simons Island.

Trojans remain undefeated with win over George Walton

John Milledge Academy returned to action this past Friday when it faced the George Walton Academy Bulldogs in Monroe. With a 34-7 victory over the Bulldogs, the Trojans improved to 3-0 on the season and boosted the school’s overall undefeated streak to 53 games dating back to the 2019 season.

Trojans dominate Canton Academy in invitational

The John Milledge Academy (JMA) Trojans traveled to Columbus last Saturday to play in the SECIS Invitational hosted by Brookstone Academy. The Trojans also competed last season in the SECIS tournament and won 48-7 over Lamar High School from Meridian, Miss.

Trojans trounce Brentwood War Eagles

John Milledge Academy (JMA) got its 2023 season off to a dominant start last Friday when it hosted the Brentwood War Eagles. In a battle of defending state champions, the Trojans beat the War Eagles 43-3 at Trojan Field.
