BOC discusses rural housing initiative proposals

Baldwin County is hoping to secure state funding that would be considered a public-private partnership of sorts, but exactly what that grant will entail will be decided at a called meeting in early June.

Baldwin breaks ground for sewer upgrades

Baldwin County held a groundbreaking ceremony last week for a sewer line project valued at more than $1.3 million and County Manager Carlos Tobar is hoping this endeavor is one of many more to come.

The new Aquatic Center in Baldwin County is now officially a go, as the board of commissioners approved a contract this week of almost $5 million for Phase I of the water park.

New, important exhibits coming to CSH museum

Baldwin County is donating to a soon-to-open museum exhibit a cornerstone from a prison building that once housed hundreds of inmates, as well as the electric chair used by the state for executions.

Meriwether Convenience Center to close temporarily
