JMA Lady Trojans win over Windsor, CFCA

The John Milledge Academy (JMA) Lady Trojans improved to 4-0 with two wins last week over Windsor Academy and Central Fellowship Christian of Macon.

The Lady Trojans crushed the Lady Knights in Macon last Monday, winning 72-8 in a grossly mismatched game. If not for the play of eighth-grader Kyndall Bowen, who scored seven of Windsor’s eighth points, it’s not hard to imagine a rare basketball shutout.

JMA quickly secured a big advantage, leading the Knights 30-3 by the end of the first quarter and 51-4 at halftime, thanks to a dominant defense.

The second saw much of the same, though the Lady Trojans scored only 21 points in the second half with mostly reserves on the floor.

JMA returned to Milledgeville for Friday’s game hosting the Central Fellowship Christian Academy (CFCA) Lancers, who proved to be a much tougher opponent than Windsor.

Regardless, JMA was victorious, putting 61 points to the Lady Lancers’ 53 and marking the second victory for the Lady Trojans over CFCA this season.

The JMA Lady Trojans will host Loganville Christian and ACE Charter at home this Tuesday and Wednesday before the Christmas break.
