As we reflect on the past year, we are grateful to live in an area where people share the wealth of love, friendship, and family together. We also appreciate each of our loyal readers of our newspapers and magazines.
The Smith Family has been publishing newspapers for many decades, going back to before the Civil War.
Our company is infused with six generations of family members publishing local news to local communities. And since 1956, the Smith Family has published newspapers in Eatonton and Georgia’s Lake Country.
In the past 70 years, the company has grown to include four regional newspapers and seven magazines, covering Putnam, Morgan, Greene, Jones, and Baldwin counties while reaching more than 25,000 readers and advertisers each week.
Our area is experiencing tremendous change and growth, and we are dedicated to serving you the reader, and our customer. We welcome your comments, ideas, and thoughts on how we can better serve you and your communities.
We are fortunate that our newspapers, magazines, and digital offerings continue to grow with the area.
