Willie James Havior, 78, passed away on Feb. 18, 2026. Williams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. The funeral service is Saturday, February 28 at noon at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness on O’Connor Drive. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bessie M. Havior of Milledgeville; two daughters, NaTonya Jones (David) of Milledgeville and Lolita Jester (Charles) of Albany; two brothers, Melvin Havior, Tyrone Havior (Hattie); and one sister, Barbara Havior Harvell (Willie)’ a sisterin- law, Sandra Havior, all of Milledgeville, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and close friends. Havior was employed by Wilkinson Used Cars as an automotive detailer for 48 years. On Sept. 28, 1984, Willie was united in matrimony to Bessie Hitchcock. Shortly thereafter, on Feb. 9, 1985, he dedicated his life to God and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and served for many years as a congregation elder. He also enjoyed reading about history and could often be seen quietly doing so on his living room sofa.
