Dorothy Jean Osborne, 87, passed away on Aug. 11, 2026. Williams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Visitation is set for Saturday, Aug. 15 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Williams, with the service to immediately follow. Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Osborne Leverett (Paul) of Milledgeville ; her grandchildren, Rev. Brian Leverett (Amy) of Vienna, Amy Murphy (Donald) of Woodstock, Virginia, and Paula Simpson (Jessie) of Milledgeville; her great grandchildren, Isabella Leverett, Sophia Leverett, Malachi Leverett, Marcus Murphy, Ansley Murphy, Aiden Murphy, Clayton Simpson, and Carly Simpson; her brother, Laney Brookins of Milledgeville; sisters, Hilda Brookins of Linton, Linda Brewer of McIntyre, and Helen Holbrook of Deepstep; special nephew William Brookins ; great nephews, Tyler and Josh; and a number of other nieces and nephews.
