Milledgeville registers two more female fights

Two women began fighting by the pork skins display at the Irwinton Road Dollar General last week, and both were arrested.

Aniyah Smith, 22, and Amani Sierra Choice, 21, were booked at the county jail and charged with fighting/affray and criminal trespass.

Both women “were still angry and yelling” when Milledgeville Police Department officers arrived, so each was placed in the back of separate patrol cars. “Amani had a small juvenile child...who was later turned over to a family member,” according to the incident report.

An officer later watched security video of the fight, but the cameras didn’t catch the entire fight. Officers “couldn’t determine the primary aggressor,” so they arrested both.

During the fight, “both parties crashed into a pork skins display, damaging multiple bags of pork skins.” Two days later, another female fight broke out, this time on Lata Terrace.

Arrested and charged with affray/ fighting were Amerria Maki Glenn, 17, and Jayla Amya Russell, 19.

An officer initially responded to the intersection of Lata Terrace and Russell Drive and “observed a large group of individuals in the roadway.”

The officer eventually was able to identify and interview the two combattants. Russell admitted to ripping Glenn’s wig off, but only after Glenn spit on her.

These incidents come on the heels of a fight last month at Wendy’s involving roughly a half-dozen women.
