Woman arrested in 4th different decade

CRIME BLURBS

“An intoxicated Wanda Myrick” was arrested earlier this month after reportedly picking up a metal baseball bat on Roberts Street and threatening to kill somebody. A neighbor told officers that Myrick “had been acting problematic all day.” Myrick, 59, was charged with one count of felony terroristic threats and acts.

The incident marked the 12th time that Myrick has been booked at the county jail, a criminal history that dates back to 1993. However, that number doesn’t include the times that Myrick was booked at the old city jail, which closed in 2017. To her credit, Myrick’s recent arrest was her first in almost 10 years. Past charges include simple assault, fighting/affray and battery.
