Few people around town were more front-andcenter when it came to volunteer initiatives than Jordan Norville.
Just last month, Norville was on hand at a Milledgeville City Council meeting, helping to raise awareness for child abuse.
Norville, the Exchange Club’s president, passed away on Friday evening following an off-road vehicle accident in rural Jones County. He was pronounced dead at the scene, while a female passenger on the side-by-side was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The accident occurred near the intersection of Stallings Road and Ellis Church Road.
Norville recently celebrated his 40th birthday. “From his infectious smile to the events where he donned his Riddler costume and other hilarious outfits, Jordan embodied what Exchange stands for — a servant leader who loved his family, his community, and everyone around him,” wrote the Exchange Club of Milledgeville on its Facebook page.
