Peggy Wells Veazey, 88, of Sparta, passed away Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026. Survivors include her son, Jeff Veazey (Lynne) of Sparta; daughter, Yvonne Veazey Messex (Wes) of Macon; grandchildren, Justin Messex (Radha) of Euharlee, Taylor McGuire (Adam) of Macon, Josh Veazey of Milledgeville, Carly Veazey of Sparta; and great-grandchild Layla Veazey.
