Georgia Military College (GMC) is launching “Encore!,” a newly reimagined GMC Performing Arts Series offering world-class music, captivating theater, and inspiring speakers right here in our community.
Encore! members may enjoy exclusive discounts, early ticket access, and special perks at every performance, giving more ways to connect with the arts throughout the year.
Presented by the Georgia Military College Foundation, Encore! offers an expanded year-round lineup, featuring everything from holiday and spring concerts to comedy shows, lively summer performances, the NewDay USA Leadership Speaker Series, and exclusive access to all GMC Prep School productions. All events will take place in the GMC Theatre inside the NewDay USA Center for Leadership, located on GMC’s main campus in Milledgeville.
“When you join Encore! you’re not just taking a seat in the audience, you’re standing up for the arts,” said Mark Weaver, associate vice president of the Center for Leadership at Georgia Military College. “While you get amazing benefits as a member, more importantly, your support creates magical moments for our community and life-changing opportunities for our GMC students.”
Encore! will begin with a holiday performance by Grammy Award-winning gospel legend Yolanda Adams on Dec. 12. Adams has captivated audiences for decades with her powerhouse vocals, dynamic stage presence, and uplifting messages of faith and hope. Having earned multiple Grammy Awards, sold millions of albums, and performed for audiences from the White House to international concert halls, she will take the stage for this one-night-only event.
Adams will be joined by the renowned Atlanta Pops Orchestra, blending her soaring voice with lush orchestral arrangements for a night of music that celebrates the season in grand style.
Tickets go on sale Aug. 29 at gmcticketsonline.com but Encore! members get early access to select seats before the general release.
