Cruise with Santa on Lake Sinclair

>> CHRISTMAS SPIRIT

Santa recently dropped off his sleigh in favor of a pontoon boat for a Christmas light cruise.

H2O Adventures has partnered with Santa and his elves to bring Christmas to Lake Sinclair. Throughout the holiday season, the elves or Santa will be driving their cruise ship around the lake to show off the sparkling lights that shimmer in Sinclair.

“Santa wants to show off the best of Lake Sinclair. We visit many lights along the shore of the lake including Christmas Cove,” said George Craig, Santa’s head elf. “Each cruise will either be led by Santa himself or his head elves.

No matter who you get, we are all here to spread our Christmas cheer from the North Pole.”

Each cruise can fit up to 10 people and can be purchased individually or as a private group charter. Groups are welcome to bring their own refreshments for the cruise and the elves encourage attendees to dress up and dress warm.

“Dress in your best elf or Christmas theme,” said Craig. “The best part is dressing up and being bathed in the lights. It awakens your Christmas spirit and brings joy to both children and adults.” Cruise with Santa debuted last year and was inspired solely by Christmas spirit, according to Craig.

Teaming with H2O adventures, the North Pole inhabitants wanted to visit Lake Sinclair and show off its beauty and wonder to everyone else.

“Our cruise is the absolute best way to see the lake during the Christmas season. The excitement of areas like Christmas Cove is spreading to other coves throughout the state but it’s still very rare to see.

This is your chance to get a unique Christmas experience,” said Craig.

“On our first cruise of the season, we were all blessed to see a shooting star!” she added. “If that doesn’t bring us back to the reason for this season, a celebration of Jesus’ birth, I don’t know what else will. What a wonderful way to bless Sinclair and kick off the Christmas charters.”

The cruise launches out of Little River Campground on GA 441 in Milledgeville. The cost is $35 per person or $300 for a private charter.

Two-hour cruises will be offered Dec. 2-17, on both weekdays and weekends.
