The Milledgeville City Council met on Tuesday and approved multiple resolutions.
The council unanimously approved a resolution to authorize the sale and transfer of a title for a 2015 fire rescue vehicle that was formerly used as the fire rescue engine for the Milledgeville Fire Rescue Department.
The council unanimously approved a resolution to authorize an agreement with Judicial Alternatives of Georgia to provide probation services in the Milledgeville Municipal Court.
After resolution approvals, Alderman Steve Chambers nominated Sharon Seymore for reappointment to the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Development Authority. The council unanimously approved the reappointment.
“We thank you Sharon Seymore for your service already and for signing up for more,” said Chambers. “This is a very important job and Sharon has done a wonderful job within this position.”
The meeting concluded with Chambers acknowledging students present from GCSU’s Dr. Clif Wilkinson’s Politics and Society class.
“Thank you very much for being here tonight. It’s exciting to see students present and learning,” said Chambers.
