Allied Arts hosts historically haunting exhibit

Allied Arts opened its Haunted Milledgeville exhibit last week in the Marlor House. This year’s exhibit has expanded to encompass three rooms in the house.The exhibit showcases a variety of mediums telling the history of Milledgeville.

MPD reports traffic light improves North Columbia traffic

Milledgeville’s Police Chief Dray Swicord acknowledges the traffic signal that has been in place on North Columbia Street in front of the mall for nearly a year has been a help. Nonetheless, he feels there are other issues that help create havoc on the busy roadway.

Students gather at Andalusia to create impromptu art “En Plein Air”

Using watercolors, charcoals, paintbrushes, easels and canvasses, students from Central Georgia will craft impromptu artwork during Georgia College & State University’s first “Artober Celebration at Andalusia: Home of Flannery O’Connor.”It’ll be a day of “En Plein Air” painting 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
