Baldwin County opens first recovery home ‘Wings of Hope’

Three women are beginning their new lives at the newly debuted “Wings of Hope” Recovery Home. Inside the home, these women will live alongside each other and support each other during the transition of their recovery journey to a better life.

GMC Prep School named One Act State Champions

Georgia Military College Prep School is proud to announce that its One Act team, co-directed by Jenny Morris and Mark Weaver, was named the A-Division 2 State Champions Nov. 22, earning top honors at the state competition held in Harris County.

City manager says goodbye to Milledgeville after decade of service

City Manager Hank Griffeth served at his last city council meeting Nov. 18 after 11 years working for the city. He offered a heartfelt speech closing his final city manager’s report during the meeting, near tears.Griffeth was hired in June of 2019 as the interim city manager.
