First Fridays: How it all began

First Fridays are a popular monthly event that take place in downtown Milledgeville and are hosted by Milledgeville Main Street. First Friday’s began in 2011 as a new event to be held on the first Friday of each month.

Male attacks ‘friend ‘after refusing to leave residence On May 6, law enforcement responded to 1980 Briarcliff Road in reference to an assault. Law enforcement met with a witness and the victim who stated their friend, Dylan Case, had attacked the victim after being told to leave.

COUNTY Emily Davis awarded for lifelong achievement

ACCG, Georgia’s County Association, recently awarded county officials with certificates for completing requirements in the Lifelong Learning Academy. Recipients were presented with their achievement certificates during the 2022 ACCG Annual Conference at the Savannah ConventionCenter.
