Drugs found in vehicle with canceled registration

According to a police report, law enforcement was on patrol traveling north on North Columbia Street July 15 when an officer was alerted by the Automated License Plate Recognition System (ALPR) of an expired tag on their rear facing camera.

Andalusia Farm recognized as national historic landmark

Georgia College received a bronze plaque and certificate from the National Park Service (NPS) this past Monday officially designating Andalusia Farm, the historic home of author Flannery O’Connor, as a national historic landmark.
