Bond unchanged, trial on hold for 2021 murder

Motions presented in Jones County Superior Court pertaining to defendants charged in a 2021 case felony murder were continued to allow attorneys to submit briefs, but the question of bond was not that complicated.

Milledgeville man arrested in Putnam man’s murder

A Putnam County man was found dead in Milledgeville Saturday morning, and the alleged killer was arrested Monday afternoon, according to authorities. The victim was identified as Joshua Corey Jones, 43, of Thomas Drive, which is on the shores of Lake Sinclair in southern Putnam County.

T-SPLOST question to be placed on November ballot
