GC Miracle raises funds for Children’s Hospital

GC Miracle, the largest student organization on the Georgia College campus, held its annual ThunderThon event April 7. Approximately 300 people attended the event, and GC Miracle raised $70,550 for the Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in Macon.

City council hears requests for budget increases

The Milledgeville City Council met April 23 and discussed the final budget proposals from Main Street, the building department and public works.The meeting opened with Mayor Pro Tempore Denese Shinholster explaining that Mayor Mary Parham-Copelan was virtually sitting in on this meeting.
