Sales tax referendum won’t happen, after all

The sales tax rate will remain at 8 percent in Baldwin County, at least through 2027.The Georgia General Assembly over the weekend failed to approve the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners’ request for an LHOST ballot referendum during a special called session in Atlanta.

Project for homeless veterans moves quickly

Four teens arrested for casing vehicles

Four teenagers, including two who recently turned 17, have been charged after a series of entering autos late last week on Pine Needle Road.Moriah Anthony Nelson and Tyrell Antwon Rhodes each was charged with eight counts of entering auto. The other two suspect are juveniles.
