Walmart shoplifter steals the buggy, too

CRIME BLUBS

Norris Octavious Johnson is accused of rolling a buggy full of merchandise past the final point of sale at Walmart. Once Johnson reached the parking lot, however, he kept on rolling, all the way to North Columbia Street.

Two officers spotted a man matching Johnson’s description pushing a buggy along North Columbia Street and approached. Johnson, listed with a Browns Crossing Road address, refused to let go of the buggy, according to the incident report, and a tussle ensued. Johnson then punched one cop in the eye and another in the mouth, added the incident report. Now bloodied, one of the officers took Johnson to the ground, while the other placed him in handcuffs. A third officer was required to place Johnson in the back of a patrol vehicle.
