Vehicles broken into on Floyd L. Griffin Jr. Street

On Sept. 4, law enforcement was dispatched to Floyd L. Griffin Jr. Street in reference to an entering auto. The victim reported that his vehicle was broken into during the night and that he discovered several compartments in the vehicle open the next morning. He reported missing his wallet (including license and debt/credit cards), a Cabela’s pocket knife, assorted fast food gift cards and Rayban sunglasses.

His passenger also reported missing a denim tote bag containing Apple AirPods, Bobcat ID card, a room key, assorted hair clips and a brown bag with white hearts.

The victim further advised police that at least three other vehicles were also entered.

Security camera footage showed a male enter from the east side of the property carrying two bags attempting to open the door of a vehicle before leaving the scene southbound on foot. As of The Baldwin Bulletin’s deadline, no suspects have been identified.
