City officers responded to Robin Circle on Friday night “in reference to a possible domestic in progress.”
Eventually arrested and charged with aggravated assault and simple battery/ family violence was Keven Alexander Koploff, listed with a Macon address.
A neighbor placed the 911 call after hearing “loud screaming and banging coming from the residence.” The occupant of the home, who Koploff referred to as “his husband,” answered the door. “(The victim) had bruising on the top of his nose between his eyebrows, a laceration and scratch on his neck, a scratch on his torso, and scratches on his wrist,” according to the incident report.
The victim told the officers that Koploff “goes by Alexis and uses the pronouns she and her,” adding that Koploff “has schizophrenia and was having an episode.” Koploff, meanwhile, was in an upstairs bathroom and initially refused to come out. Koploff eventually came out, and the officers entered the bathroom, observing “broken glass all over the bathroom floor and blood on the toilet seat and lid.”
Koploff declined EMS treatment and a hospital evaluation, according to the incident report.
The victim then provided Blink security video from cameras inside of the home. The first video, according to the incident report, showed the victim pinned down on the ground and Koploff striking him “multiple times with a closed fist.” The second video, meanwhile, showed Koploff choking the victim and the victim “making noises like his airway was being obstructed.”
