Jerry Wordie Hill was sentenced to 20 years behind bars back in 2021, stemming from a 2019 arrest for sexual exploitation of children. Hill was “found to be in possession of child pornography,” according to court records.
Hill, 45, ultimately did a 37-month stint in prison before being released in March 2024 and coming back home to Milledgeville. A mere five months later, Hill was arrested again after his probation officer discovered a video “depicting a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct” on Hill’s phone. His probation was revoked, and Hill was transferred to Central State Prison in Macon.
Hill recently had his day in court regarding his most recent arrest, pleading guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of children and receiving a sentence of 10 years behind bars and 10 more on probation.
Hill is one of five Baldwin County men currently serving prison time for sexual exploitation of children, joining William Mose Buckland, Randall Scott Hardy, Joshua Hurt and Howard Leo Whiters, according to Georgia Department of Corrections records.
