County Line Music Festival Inc. hosted its annual County Line Music Festival March 7, raising approximately $40,000 to be donated to support affordable housing initiatives across Middle Georgia.
This year’s lineup featured several emerging artists from across the Southeast, including Winyah, The Stews, The Gringos, Ran Albright, and Stranger Company.
Each year, Frank Specht generously supports the event by allowing the use of his property, where the 2026 event attracted more than 4,000 college-age attendees from across the Southeast. The rural setting in a large cow pasture north of downtown Milledgeville evokes vibes of the famous 1969 Woodstock outdoor concert in central New York state.
County Line Music Festival is fully autonomous and operates as a 501(c)(3) public charity operated entirely by unpaid Georgia College students. In addition to bringing thousands of visitors to Milledgeville for the weekend, the festival generated significant local economic activity. As a member of the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce, County Line prioritized working with local vendors and sourcing all event services from nearby businesses.
This year’s County Line Music Festival generated approximately $40,000 in profit, all of which will be donated to support affordable housing initiatives across Middle Georgia.
