Greene St., Milledgeville More info: In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, Georgia Military College invites the community to a free outdoor movie night on Grant Parade Field featuring Disney’s National Treasure. Enjoy an evening of live music, food trucks, and concessions before the movie begins, followed by a festive fireworks show. Gates open at 5 p.m.

Wesley Chapel Rd., Eatonton More info: The club will be participating in the annual ARRL Field Day Event. This is a contest where Amateur Radio Operators (Hams) set up ham radio stations at remote locations and score points for communicating with as many other ham radio operators as possible. Setup is at noon with the official start time of 2 p.m. There are no charges or fees. All licensed hams, non-hams and anyone, any age interested in becoming a licensed ham radio operator is invited. What: USA 250 Drone Show When: Program starts at 9 p.m. Where: Putnam County Recreation Department, 140 Recreation Rd., Eatonton More Info: To mark the nation’s 250th birthday, Putnam County is sponsoring a spectacular 15-minute, 500-drone light show highlighting several milestones of American history. Prayers, remarks, and musical selections will kick-off the program shortly after 7 p.m., with light show when dark. Snacks available for purchase. Some bleacher seating available, or bring your lawn chairs and food/ beverages in a cooler. Parking is limited, so arrive early to secure a spot. This event is free, with all welcome and encouraged to attend.
