Allied Arts debuts dual exhibit for acrylic painters

The dual August exhibit at Allied Arts welcomes people to see art through Krista Kugaraj’s and Sandy MacPherson-Ireland’s point-of-views.Kugaraj’s main mediums are acrylic and watercolor. Her artwork explores using artistic creation to convey emotion and faith.

A new spotlight is shining in the heart of Georgia. On Aug.1, the Milledgeville Theatre Collective (MTC) launched as the region’s newest performing arts organization, dedicated to cultivating bold, collaborative, and inclusive theatrical experiences for performers, partners, and patrons alike.

Allied Arts will be hosting Art Space, three workshops for teen artists between the ages of 12-18, over the next three months.“We wanted to cater to an older demographic with more focused workshops and continue teaching beyond the summer,” said Kristin Allen, program coordinator for Allied Arts.
