Century Bank & Trust (CB&T) in Milledgeville recently donated $500 to Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), which works for the well-being of children in need within the regional court system.
Ocmulgee CASA trains and empowers community volunteers to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children in the court system. These volunteers ensure each child’s voice is heard and their best interests are represented throughout their legal journeys.
Community support, especially for organizations like Ocmulgee CASA, represents a key part of the bank’s century- long legacy of service and care.
“Our team believes in the power of community and the importance of standing up for our most vulnerable members,” CB&T President and CEO Derek Williams said. “We are honored to support Ocmulgee CASA in their mission to provide stability, hope, and a brighter future for children in our area.”
Serving Baldwin, Putnam, and surrounding counties, Ocmulgee CASA plays a vital role in helping vulnerable children thrive. To learn more visit ocmulgeecasa. org. Visit CB&T at centurybankonline.com or call 478-453-3571 for information.
