There will also be a silent auction, and winners of the art contest held at the primary and elementary schools will be recognized. Tickets for each activity are 50 cents; wristbands that allow access to all of activities can be purchased for $10 per child. Tickets also can be purchased for the silent auction. Sponsored by Putnam Reads, this event helps raise funds to provide new, age-appropriate books each month to Putnam County children from birth to age 5. Sign up for the Fun Run by Feb. 14 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Registration forms are given to all children at the four Putnam daycares, PCPS and PCES, and are available at the Putnam County Library and Health Department.
