More Info: The Central State Hospital Museum and Brown Stetson-Sanford House will be open to the public free of charge as part of Georgia History Festival’s Super Museum Sunday. The Sanford House is one of Milledgeville’s last remaining early inns & taverns and only one still open. Visitors to the CSH Museum will see artifacts, pictures, equipment and learn of what was the largest mental institution in the world.
