A 19-year-old man was booked on multiple charges following several incidents in the Adams trailer park on Colony Farm Road.
All totaled, Jase Matthew Chester, 19, was charged with one count each of aggravated assault, first degree cruelty to children and simple battery.
A deputy responded to the scene and made contact with the trailer park owner, a 69-year-old man. The man relayed to the deputy that “Chester threw a bottle at him and started to hit a juvenile in the face with his fist. (The man) then stated that when he pulled Chester off the child, Chester struck him in the face with his fist, subsequently breaking his glasses. (The victim) advised (the deputy) that during the physical altercation, Chester picked up an orange baseball bat, striking him in the side,” according to an incident report.
The deputy then made contact with Chester’s girlfriend, who relayed that Chester “was being verbally aggressive towards her,” adding that Chester had “punched her in the chest.”
Two witnesses and residents of the trailer gave similar statements to the deputy.
Chester was arrested without incident.
